Rammstein will release a new single, "Pussy", on September 18, 2009. Available as a two-song digipack, it will also feature "Rammlied" as the B-side. Renowned Swedish director Jonas Åkerlund directed the recently finished, but as yet unreleased, video for the single.
"Pussy" is No. 8 on the new album, which will be released in the U.S. this fall via Vagrant Records. Rammstein’s first new CD in four years again contains 11 songs, again mixed and mastered by Jacob Hellner in Stockholm, Sweden. Pre-production for the new album release was completed at Castle Beerenstedt in eastern Germany's Halle/Saale, and the bulk of the recording was done at Northern California's Sonoma Mountain Studio in late 2008.
